To view Adobe Illustrator® Deluxe, you should have at least 4 MB of application RAM, Apple® System Software version 7.01 or later, a Macintosh with a 68020 or later processor, and a 13-inch or larger monitor. If you have a large monitor and receive a message that Adobe Illustrator Deluxe does not have enough memory to run, set the Monitors control panel to display 256 colors.
VIRTUAL MEMORY
Use the Memory control panel to turn off your system's virtual memory before launching Adobe Illustrator Deluxe.
ABOUT QUICKTIME
To view the digital video Expert Tips, New Features and Fundamentals, you must have QuickTime 1.5 or later installed in your system. Additionally, you must have Sound Manager 3.1 installed in your system to view the Digital Art Show. To install these extensions, open the QuickTime 2.1 and Sound Manager 3.1 folders located in the Apple Extensions folder on this CD-ROM, and copy the QuickTime and Sound Manager system extensions into the System Folder of your start-up hard drive, then restart your computer.

HOW TO INSTALL ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR® 6.0
Double-click the Install Adobe Illustrator™ icon. You can use the Easy Install or the Custom Install option. Follow the instructions in the Adobe Illustrator Getting Started Guide. You can also launch the Installer application located in the folder Install - Disk 1, which is located inside the Adobe Illustrator 6.0 folder.
ADOBE PRINTER DRIVER FOR THE MACINTOSH
The PSPrinter driver is included to help speed up your printing. For more information, please review the Read Me file in the PSPrinter folder before installation.
THIRD-PARTY CLIP ART, STOCK PHOTOS, AND TEXTURES
Adobe Fetch® Browser catalogs have been provided for viewing clip art and stock photography on the Adobe Illustrator Deluxe CD-ROM. To browse Illustrator clip art, double-click Clip Art Catalog which is located in the Illustrator Clip Art & Samples folder in the Third Party Products folder. To browse stock photography or textures, double-click the Stock Photography & Textures Catalog, located in the Stock Photography & Textures folder in the Third Party Products folder.
ILLUSTRATOR GOODIES
Adobe Fetch Browser catalogs have been provided for viewing the Adobe Collector's Edition as well as viewing additional path patterns and templates content. These catalogs can be found in their respective file folders in the Illustrator Goodies folder on this CD-ROM.
